{the food experiment // quick pasta with king prawns}
this recipe was inspired by another recipe i found on how sweet it is {a very sweet {indeed} food blog, go check it out for more amazing stuff}.
it is quick and easy which i love.

ingredients // serves one
- 6-8 raw & peeled king prawns
- 4 tbs olive oil
- parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes
- spaghetti {depends on how hungry you are}
- cherry tomatos
- rocket
- some pine nuts
how to
whisk olive oil, parmesan, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic and red pepper flakes together. add shrimp and mix thoroughly. place in the fridge to marinate for 30 minutes minimum.
bring water to boil in a large pot and cook spaghetti according to directions. while pasta is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. rost pine nuts in the skillet. when golden brown, add shrimp and marinade, then cook shrimp until pink – about 2 minutes per side. be careful not to overcook {otherwise they are like gum}. add cherry tomates {cut in half}. as soon as shrimps are finished, add spaghetti into the skillet and toss to coat completely. top with additional parmesan cheese and rocket, then serve.

Ich nehm den Salat, Du die Prawns. Mir wird ja leider immer very schlecht, wenn ich Dinge aus dem Meer esse, die nicht direkt zur Kategorie Fisch gehören :) Deal?

hey liebe Jeanny, das ist gebongt, not a problem at all ;-) ich nehm die prawns, du den rest. schwesterlich geteilt… und das mit der pause in der warmen küche ist total ok, nicht das dein herd doch noch auf dumme gedanken kommt.
